Forever Young
-
For the inner child that’s been yearning to come out, a “Forever Young” party will take you and your guests back to yesteryear. Use neon colors to decorate. Black lights add a fascinating touch to neon decorations. Create your own version of the Twister game by painting glow-in-the-dark spots on a white sheet. Incorporate a fog machine and have a fog-walk; use glowing numbers taped to the floor and arranged into a large circle. You or a co-host can play music and call out a winning number when you stop the music. The winner receives a prize from the trinket box.
Superhero
-
Include a request in the invitation for guests to dress up as their favorite superheroes. If you have trees outside, you can place a small toy cat in a tree. Have the guests line up and climb the tree to save the cat. Give out hero medals to each participant. Superheroes love to show their strength; have them compete with each other by arm wrestling or lifting age-appropriate items. Determine who gets the Super Muscles award.

Western
-
With guests donning their cowboy boots and Western shirts, they are sure to have a terrific time at the birthday showdown. Set up a target practice by drawing a line on the ground and have guests compete for prizes using dart guns. Place an old barrel outside and have guests try to rope the barrel as they would a cow. Play country music in the background and eat "vittles" consisting of cornbread and beans.
Fiesta
-
A fiesta birthday calls for many different types of Mexican food. Chips, salsa, beans, fajitas, warm flour tortillas and rice are appropriate. Purchase some inexpensive maracas at a party supply store and have a dance-off. Hang a piñata and play games after you eat Tres Leches Cake. Throw several sombreros on the ground and have guests dance around, showing their finest fiesta moves.
