Bridal Shower Decorating Ideas With Daisies

Daisies have no scent, so you can fill a room without an overwhelming smell.

Daisies are simple, cheerful flowers that are easy to incorporate into a bridal shower decorating scheme. They represent simplicity and innocence, and you'll find them in season during the summer and early fall. Use daisies for invitations, linens, decorations, centerpieces or favors.

  1. Invitations

    • Choose standard white invitations with daisy borders or other daisy graphics. If you're feeling creative, make your own invitations with thick cardstock that you can cut into the shape of a daisy. Put the event name in the center and write details such as the time, location, registry information and RSVP contact information on the petals.

    Linens

    • If you have round tables, use linens to make the tabletops look like large daisies. Place a white tablecloth and put a round yellow place mat in the center of the table. Use tulle to create petals that lead out to each place setting.

    Centerpieces

    • An easy way to decorate with daisies is to place a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers on to the center of the table. If you want something a little simpler, use large shallow glass bowls filled with water and float one daisy that is cut just below the bud.

    Food

    • Purchase a round white fondant cake and line the bottom with small fresh-cut daisies. If you're making your own desserts, bake cupcakes or sugar cookies. Ice them with a base-color frosting such as blue or green, then use decorative white and yellow frosting to draw on daisies.

    Favors

    • Find small daisy charms that are fairly inexpensive at craft shops. Attach them to charm bracelets or simple silver chains to create a beautiful keepsake for the bride and other guests. Purchase small brown or white jewelry boxes and fake daisies, which you can cut just below the bud and use hot glue to attach to the box for pretty packaging.
