Scripture Bracelet Craft
You can make a Scripture bracelet using a variety of different craft techniques. In many instances, you will want to just represent the chapter and verse of the desired Scripture because of the limited space a bracelet affords. However, for short passages or by using a wraparound technique in devising your Scripture bracelet, you can represent a full Scripture passage in crafting a Scripture bracelet.

Embroidery
-
Depending what type of embroidery you do, you can either purchase special fabric made for an embroidery project or use any kind of fabric an iron-on embroidery transfer will show up on, and that can withstand heat from a dry iron at a medium setting. After embroidering your Scripture chapter and verse, cut the fabric to an appropriate size surrounding the verse and do any appropriate hemming or other finishing. Use methods such as braiding the ends of the fabric you have used, attaching ribbon ties or adding leather thongs to the fabric portion of the bracelet, to make bracelet fasteners for your embroidered Scripture bracelet.
Leather
-
You can paint a short Scripture verse on leather, such as “Lord, hear my cry” from Psalm 130:2, or “Come, follow Me” from Matthew 4:19. If you have more skill in working with leather, you can tool, or carve, such Scriptural verses into the leather. With leather bracelets, you can also thread narrower leather thongs through an eyelet or use a braided set of leather strands set into an eyelet as the bracelet closure. A more skilled leather worker can set a snap into the leather as a closure for the bracelet.

Beads
-
You can purchase vinyl or plastic beads in some craft stores that have letters stamped or painted on them. You can also find unfinished wooden beads that you can paint or stencil letters onto for your Scripture bracelet. You can use the beads to spell out short verses, such as “The Lord is My Shepherd” from Psalm 23:1, “Our Father in heaven” from Matthew 6:9 or “Deliver us from Evil” from Matthew 6:13. For longer Scripture verses, you can spell out just the designation of the chapter and verse for the Scripture you wish to recall. You can create a simple beaded Scripture bracelet using lettered beads by stringing them on a vinyl chord, a leather thong or even a length of narrow ribbon, and fasten the bracelet by tying the ends together. You can also craft a somewhat more refined bracelet by using spacer beads and other jewelry-making supplies and techniques available at craft stores and through online suppliers.
Multi-Strand
-
You can adapt many bracelet-crafting techniques to accommodate spelling out longer passages of Scripture by making a multi-strand bracelet using the desired craft. For example, you could spell out the Scripture verse “My yoke is easy and my burden light” in a tooled or painted leather, or bead craft, bracelet by creating a bracelet that wraps around the wrist in two or three strands that each spell out a portion of the desired Scripture.
