Wearing the perfect outfit for each section of the pageant is vital, and can be the difference between winning and losing. Swimwear

The swimsuit section of a pageant is perhaps the most difficult to pull off. Try on many different colors and types of swimsuits before deciding on one. This will help you select an outfit that flatters your body. Your swimsuit must emphasize your best features while disguising your worst. Go for bright, solid colors rather than faded colors, pastels or neutrals as these usually help you to stand out to the judges. Wear shoes that are clear or in a color that matches your skin tone to elongate your legs and keep any accessories simple so as not to draw attention away from your swimsuit.

Talent Wear

Choose an appropriate yet stylish outfit to wear for the talent section of the pageant. Evening Gown

The evening gown must enhance your appearance as well as reflect your personality and style. Choose a color that complements your complexion and hair. Your gown must be elegant, be a perfect fit and flatter your body shape. Carefully consider the material for your evening gown. Silk material is often the most popular choice as it keeps its shape, drapes well and has sheen. You want to draw focus to the gown, so stay away from distracting accessories and shoes.
