What Is a Latitude D610?
The Latitude D610 is one of the entries of the business-oriented Latitude laptop personal computer brand from United States computer technology company Dell Inc. It was released in 2005 as the slightly updated successor to the D600, which is notable for being Dell's first business-geared laptop PC to use the Pentium-M processor from semiconductor company Intel Corp. At the time of publication, Dell no longer manufactures the Latitude D610.

As a laptop PC geared towards business users, the Dell Latitude D610 appropriately runs on the Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system. The computer uses an Intel Pentium-M processor with a processing speed of at least 2GHz. Users can Web browse wirelessly with the computer's built-in Wi-Fi card, which adheres to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' 802.11g protocol. The D610's external interfaces -- apart from the aforementioned A/V and networking ones -- include four USB 2.0 ports for data transfer, and 9-pin serial and 25-pin parallel port for hooking up electronic devices such as printers.

Its screen display, measuring 14.1 inches diagonally, has a native display resolution of 1,400 by 1,050 pixels. For power, the laptop relies on a 65-watt AC adapter and 6-cell 4,700-milliampere-hour lithium-ion battery.
