Funny Crafts for Teenage Girls

Teenage girls change so quickly, and it's important that you allow them to express themselves. There are so many activities going on around them that it may be hard for you to keep them in the house. With a few fun crafts, you can get a few hours of giggling out of your teenage daughter and her friends, and many laughs in the future.

Faces

Making faces from magazine clippings is easy, affordable and fun. Get a piece of printer paper or construction paper, glue, scissors and some old magazines. Cut a circle the shape of the girl's face out of the paper. Have the teenage girls cut out facial features from other people in the magazines that look similar to themselves. At the end they will have a goofy face that will look similar to them, and it will give the girls a good laugh.

Mood Bored

Teens are always finding different ways to express themselves. A funny way for them to tell you if they are mad, sad, goofy or hyper before you walk into their room is with a mood board. They can also write funny messages on the board. Get a flat piece of wood from the craft store, some chalk, wood letters to spell the teen's name, and some chalkboard paint. Paint the wood with the chalkboard paint and let it dry. Decorate the letters of the girl's name. Glue the name letters together over top and under each other. Glue the chalkboard you just created behind the letters of the name. Hot glue works best for this craft.

Stick People

Friends are one of the most important things in a teenage girl's life. With some wooden craft sticks, construction paper, yarn, glue and markers, have your teen create all of the girls in her group of friends. She can make clothes out of construction paper to match outfits that her friends wear, make silly faces, and show them to all of her friends. This is an easy and fun way for the teens to all make figurines of each other, and also a great craft for them to keep in their rooms.

Crush Heart

Teen girls are usually crushing on someone, especially celebrities. Get a wooden heart from your craft store and have the teen paint it their color of choice. With another color of paint have them put the celebrity's name on it. Putting lipstick on and kissing the board adds extra detail. They can hang this goofy sign of affection in their room, and once their crush or interest changes, they can repaint it again.
