Facebook Graffiti for Beginners
Among the various apps available for Facebook, you'll find the Graffiti application. The Facebook Graffiti application allows you to draw pictures using a Paint-like interface, then share them with friends or save them to your profile. While Graffiti was once a fixture on profiles, it's now used as a standalone application you can access through your Facebook page to add color and personality to your profile.

Finding Graffiti
-
Since Graffiti is a Facebook application, you can search it by name using the search bar at the top of your profile. Start by typing "Graffiti" in the search box and choosing the option that has "Application" as the description. This brings you to the application homepage. Click "Go to App" to begin using Graffiti. If you've used it in the past, typing Graffiti into the search bar and selecting the application brings you directly to its interface.
Getting Started
-
Graffiti is meant to share with friends, so when you start drawing a picture, you'll begin by selecting the friend to whom you'd like to send the picture by typing a name into the "Draw To:" field. Begin drawing by selecting a template from the available choices, which changes the size and shape of your canvas. Next select the color from the palette and adjust the size of your brush using the slider tools at the bottom of the interface to begin using the Graffiti application.

Editing and Sending
-
Once you've finished designing your Graffiti, click "Send Graffiti." It appears on your friend's profile and in his news feed. If you've made a mistake or want to scrap your changes, use the "Undo" and "Start Over" options found at the bottom of the interface. Once you've sent the Graffiti, your picture is automatically saved in the "Your Graffiti" file and you can view friends' pictures from the "Friends' Graffiti" menu, both found at the top of the interface.
You cannot save your Graffiti picture from the interface, but you can give your friend the option of adding the picture to "Your Graffiti," then save your picture after viewing it in your gallery.
Public Gallery
-
Facebook has a public gallery for Graffiti users, where artists and amateurs alike submit their best work. The Graffiti application often hosts various contests throughout the year, pulling submissions and winners from the gallery. If you'd like to submit Graffiti to the public gallery, click "Public Gallery" at the top of the Graffiti interface, then selects "Submit a Graffiti."
