Karaoke isn't necessarily funny, but it can become entertaining and giggle-worthy when you put restrictions on the sorts of songs you sing and require accessories during the songs. For example, limit the party participants to songs from the disco era or to songs that have to do with weddings. When a person gets up to sing, hand her a hat or a feather boa to wear. If you have enough time, pick out exactly what songs to sing during the party and assign an accessory to the song beforehand. For example, "It's Raining Men" can have a giant umbrella.

Use the theme of a cooking class to show the bride how to be domestic while making everyone laugh. The theme is particularly funny if the bride has difficulty in the kitchen. Develop recipes that no one will actually want to eat, such as Cream of Tomato Ice Cream, and demonstrate how to make them during the party. For snacks and beverages, have a small sample of your outrageous recipe ideas on hand and offer an award to whoever dares to try one.

Pick a costume theme for the party that's incongruous with where you'll be going for the evening. Head to a 1970s-themed nightclub wearing western wear, for example. You'll raise a few eyebrows and turn a few heads, but will probably also get a few laughs for your ridiculous outfits. Make sure the bride's costume coordinates with the fact that she's the one getting married. If you go with a western costume theme, for example, attach a bridal veil to her cowboy hat.

Most likely, the women attending the bachelorette party will have served as a bridesmaid at some point. Ask guests to wear their ugliest past bridesmaids dresses or track a dress down at the thrift store. Throw a party with a somewhat spooky theme, since wearing an ugly dress is a nightmare for some. You may want to reconsider this theme if the dresses the current bride has picked out for her bridesmaids are unattractive.
