The fun doesn't have to stop after prom is over.

Prom night is an exciting time for many high school juniors and seniors. Students dress up in elegant dresses and tuxedos and dance the night away with their friends. The fun usually doesn't stop once the prom is over. Many students participate in activities after the prom such as eating at a restaurant or going to an amusement park the next day. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Amusement Park

    • Proms are typically held in May, a perfect month to go to an amusement park. Wake up the next day and pack everything you need in a backpack, such as a camera, wallet, cell phone and water bottle. When you need a break from riding the roller coasters, play games or eat lunch with your friends.

    Late Night Dinner

    • Many restaurants are open late. If you don't want to spend a lot of money at a fine dining establishment, go to a pizza parlor or a diner. Eating a pizza or a hamburger at a quiet restaurant allows you to wind down from the prom excitement, whether you're with your date or a group of friends.

    Bowling

    • Many bowling centers offer late night blowing on weekends. After the prom, gather your friends and bowl a few games. Create a competition; have boys on one team and girls on the other. If you're hungry, most bowling centers sell pizza, soda and other snacks.

    House Party

    • Having a party at your house allows your friends to keep dancing after prom is over. Serve basic food at the party such as chips, pizza, soda and candy. Play games such as charades and karaoke to keep guests entertained. Rent movies for your guests to watch when they need a break from dancing and games.

    Beach Day

    • Relax at the beach with your friends the day after prom. Pack a picnic lunch filled with sandwiches, chips and sodas. Play a game of volleyball or toss a Frisbee around. If the water is too cold for swimming, hang out on blankets and catch some rays.
