If you don’t use checkered fabric, you can use a white tablecloth, red napkins and green napkin rings, or another variation of those colors. For an extra touch, tie thin pieces of red ribbon around small bunches of oregano and place them on top of the napkins.
Centerpiece
-
Your centerpiece should include bottles of wine, grapes, vines and candles. Wrap the bottom half of a bottle of wine with raffia. Place a candle in the mouth of the bottle, light the candle and allow the wax to drip down the sides. Place real or artificial bunches of grapes around the bottles. Another idea is to lay a real or artificial loaf of Italian bread down the length of the table. Arrange vines and grapes around it and place a bottle of wine at each end.
