If you are looking for a ghoulishly delightful costume idea for Halloween, consider putting together a two headed costume. The two headed costume makes the wearer appear to have two heads, and is an appropriate costume solution for men, women and even kids. Using a cranium mask, which is the sort of mask that covers the entire head, you can make an inexpensive costume piece that costs less than purchasing a similar item pre-made from a costume shop.

Step 1

Stuff a cranium mask with newspaper. A cranium mask is a rubber mask that covers the wearer's entire head. Bunch the paper into tight balls and fill the mask tightly, so that the mask can sit up on its own when resting on your shoulder.

Step 2

Attach the bottom of the stuffed mask to one shoulder of a long sleeve, button down shirt. Use a hot glue gun to attach the mask and let dry.

Step 3

Wear the two headed shirt with plain pants and shoes. For variations, spray paint the shirt with silver fabric paint to make a two headed alien costume or for a zombie, tear up the shirt and spread red paint on the front to look like blood.

Step 4

Use makeup to go with the costume you have created. For example, for a two headed alien costume, wear green face paint. For a two headed zombie costume, draw fake blood and cuts on your face using red lipstick.

Warning

Take care when using the hot glue gun and make sure children operate the gun under adult supervision, as burns can be caused by the heated tip of the gun.
