Use candles to light the path to the altar.

When planning wedding details, couples should choose the appropriate wedding lights to illuminate and spruce up the aisle. Illuminating the aisle will make the bride's grand entrance memorable and add a sense of beauty and romance to the wedding. Poor aisle lighting might affect the quality of the pictures taken and prevent the guests from seeing the details of the wedding gown as the bride makes her grand entrance to the altar.

  1. Candles

    • Candles may be used in creating a path of lights that lead to the altar. They can be placed at uniform intervals along the aisle leading to the altar. Candles are perfect for an evening or outdoor wedding. The aisle runner edges may be decorated with votive candles and colorful rose petals, making the aisle more colorful and romantic as well as adding a sparkle to the event. Candles will be lit before the ceremony starts, thus it is important to check the candles' burn time, and ensure they will last throughout the ceremony. Select candles with colors that reflect the wedding theme, to maintain ambiance during the ceremony.

    Rope Lighting

    • Use holiday lights or rope lights to create an archway along the length of the aisle. Create a breathtaking runway by hanging the holiday lights and string lights on wooden poles erected along the aisle. This will transform the aisle into a shiny runway where the bride can make her grand entrance.

    Twinkle Lights

    • Stringing twinkle lights on poles placed on the ground of the aisle will also light up the occasion. Illuminate every row with the twinkle lights, which can be accentuated by hanging white silk orchids that reflect the light, transforming the aisle into a fairway.

    Tiki Torches

    • Event lighting tiki torches are suitable for illuminating beach weddings pathways, but may also be used anywhere. These torches are battery-powered and equipped with six bright light-emitting diodes (LEDs). They are hand crafted from bamboo, with bowl-shaped lenses and a bright flickering light. Tiki torches are easy to set up since they are directly stuck into the ground. They have an on and off switch and the battery runs approximately 20 hours. They create a lovely glow during the ceremony, giving the wedding an island feeling.

    Round Paper Lanterns

    • Add round paper lanterns to the ceiling or hang them on wooden poles along the aisle. They provide subtle and beautiful light that creates a magnificent runway for the bride to make her entrance. Choose round paper lanterns that suit the wedding theme, as they come in different colors.
