Must-Have Wedding Moments to Be Photographed
A wedding day is full of moments that need to be captured on film. The couple wants to remember this day for the rest of their lives, so it is important for the photographer to pay close attention to what’s going on around him, so he doesn’t miss anything. A good wedding photographer blends into the background naturally, snapping photographs without interfering with the special moments happening all around him.

Before the Ceremony
-
Take pictures of the bride and the bridesmaids getting ready. Excellent moments to capture include the bride getting her hair and makeup done, the wedding dress dangling from the hanger, the bridesmaids helping the bride get dressed, and the bride hugging her mother.
During the Ceremony
-
The wedding ceremony is full of moments that the couple will want to have captured on film. The most essential parts to photograph include the bride and her father walking down the aisle, the look on the groom’s face as the bride walks down the aisle, the looks on the faces of the guests on both the bride and groom’s sides, the couple saying their vows, the first kiss, and the newlyweds walking back down the aisle.

Posed Shots
-
Although candid photographs are essential, you also need to have a set of posed shots. These include photographs of the bride and groom alone, the entire bridal party, the couple and her immediate family, the couple and his immediate family, and one photograph of the couple with their newly united immediate families.
Reception
-
There are countless memories to capture at the reception. These include the couple arriving at the venue, the couple being introduced to their guests as husband and wife, the first dance, the father-daughter dance, the mother-son dance, the couple cutting their wedding cake, the bouquet toss, candid photographs of guests, and the couple leaving the reception venue at the end of the evening.
