Daisy Mirror Craft
Daisies are bright cheerful flowers that contain pure white petals surrounding a round yellow center. You can use daisies to decorate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or school locker mirrors. Use daisies that have been pressed and dried, made from foam, painted on or crafted from fabric to embellish the mirror's frame or the mirror itself.

Pressed Daisy Mirror
-
Use pressed and dried daisy blossoms to decorate the frame of your mirror. Cover the mirror with plastic wrap or wax paper to protect it's surface while working on the frame. Rub over the surface of the mirror's frame with sandpaper to remove its finish. Paint the frame with acrylic paint and a sponge brush. After the paint has dried, coat a small portion of the frame with a decoupage adhesive. Use tweezers to lay out dried daisies over the decoupaged portion. Repeat this process along the remaining sides of the frame. Allow the first coat of decoupage adhesive to dry. Gently brush a coat of adhesive over the top of the arranged flowers to seal and finish the frame.
Foam Daisy Mirror
-
Create a daisy mirror using foam daisy cutouts and buttons. This project works well on small framed mirrors used in children's rooms or lockers. Purchase or cut out daisy shapes from sheets of white craft foam. Hot-glue a yellow button to the center of each flower shape. Hot-glue the foam daisies in clusters around the frame of the mirror. Then, hot-glue a few buttons around and in between the clusters for embellishment.

Painted Daisy Mirror
-
Decorate a mirror by hand painting daisy blossoms directly onto the mirror and its frame. You can paint the design based on your own design idea, or find stencils to use as guides. Paint the flowers petals using white or cream acrylic paint and small tole painting brushes. Add bright yellow dots to the center of each daisy once its paint has dried by dipping the end of the brush's handle in paint and dabbing it to the center of the flower. Free-hand paint or or stencil green stems, leaves and vines between the flowers to connect them.
Silk Daisy Mirror
-
Attach silk daisies around the frame of a mirror to add embellishment. Cut the stem from each of the silk daisies. Remove the leaves from the stems and set aside. Set the daisies on the mirror's frame and adjust their positions until they are arranged to taste. Remove the daisies from the frame one by one, add a drop of hot glue to their bottoms and replace them on the frame in their assigned positions. Press gently on each flower until the glue sets to secure them to the frame. Hot glue leaves to the frame, tucking them next to and in the clusters of daisies.
