Secret Egg Locations in Angry Birds

Golden eggs are hidden in several places in "Angry Birds."

In "Angry Birds," collecting golden eggs unlocks bonus levels. Some eggs are hidden in generic locations, including the egg on the white bird's instruction screen, the one at the bottom of the credits and the one you get by tapping the sun beneath the episode selections. The rest of the eggs are episode-specific, many hidden within levels themselves. You also get an egg for earning three stars in each level of an episode.

Poached Eggs

The Poached Eggs episode has two golden eggs. Find the first in level 1-8. A treasure chest is hidden underneath dirt. You can't reach the chest with your birds, so just tap the chest on the screen to unlock the egg. The second egg is in level 2-2, where a beach ball is buried in a bunch of ice blocks. Destroy the ball using the blue birds to unlock the egg.

Mighty Hoax

The Mighty Hoax episode also has only two golden eggs. Open level 4-7 and use two fingers to zoom out on the screen to find the golden egg on the top plateau of the mountain behind the blocks and pigs. Shoot a bird into the egg to collect it. The second egg is in level 5-19. Again, zoom out to find it high above the rocket's tip. Touch the egg with a bird to get it.

Danger Above

The Danger Above episode has three golden eggs. Open the level select menu for the episode and scroll right. Tap the egg on the screen beyond the last menu. Open level 6-14 and use one of the green birds to boomerang around to the golden egg located beneath the tree. Open level 8-15 and find the golden egg hidden behind two wood blocks directly beneath the slingshot platform. Use a green bird to collect this egg too.

The Big Setup

The Big Setup has three golden eggs. The first is in level 9-14, where you have to shoot a bird well past the blocks to touch the egg at the far end of the screen. In level 10-3, you only have to destroy the yellow duck sitting underneath the wooden bridge to collect the golden egg. In level 11-15, the egg is actually behind the slingshot. Shoot the green bird behind you and have it boomerang back to collect the egg.

Ham 'Em High

You can find four golden eggs in Ham 'Em High. You get the first by destroying the trophy hidden in the piles of jewels in level 12-12. The next is in level 13-10. Zoom out, then use a white bird to fly up to get the egg high in the air. In level 13-12, bomb the back of the hill with a white bird to automatically collect the egg. Get the fourth egg in level 14-4, where you need to launch a yellow bird at the egg found on the cliff at the right side.

Mine and Dine

Mine and Dine has three golden eggs. In level 15-12, scroll out to find the golden egg high above the blocks, sitting on a ledge. Use a yellow or white bird to collect the egg. The second egg is in level 16-9 where you find it sitting on top of the cave at the right. Fling a yellow bird and use its speed burst ability to reach and touch the egg. The third egg is in level 17-12, where you need to use the yellow bird to fly over the ledges touch the treasure chest.
