About the White Pandigital Novel eReader
Two of Pandigital's Novel eReaders are available in white - the Novel 6" Personal eReader and the Novel 7-Inch Color Multimedia eReader. Both devices feature touchscreen displays, memory card slots, Wi-Fi functionality and access to more than two million titles on Barnes & Noble’s online bookstore. They differ primarily in terms of size and screen specifications.

The white Novel 6-Inch Personal eReader measures 4.8 inches wide, 7 inches tall and 0.5 inches thick at its thickest point. It weighs 8 oz. before optional upgrades and accessories. The white Novel 7-Inch Color Multimedia eReader is larger and heavier, measuring 5.5 inches wide, 7.5 inches tall and 0.5 inches thick. It weighs 19 oz. before upgrades and accessories. Integrated rechargeable lithium-ion batteries provide onboard power to both devices. Included AC adapters supply the devices with external power. Pandigital sells both white Novel eReaders with one-year limited warranties

The white Novel 6-Inch eReader features a 6.0-inch ePaper touchscreen display with a native resolution of 600 by 800 pixels. Pandigital markets the ePaper display as being ideal for reading in a variety of lighting conditions, including direct sunlight. The Novel 7-Inch Color Multimedia eReader has a 7.0-inch digital TFT touchscreen LCD display with a resolution of 600 by 800 pixels. Screens on both devices are manipulated via a combination of virtual keyboards and a series of physical controls, including search, settings, home, and left and right buttons.

Pandigital outfits the white Novel 6-Inch eReader with 2GB of onboard storage space, while the Novel 7-Inch eReader has 1GB of storage space. Both devices also come equipped with built-in two-in-one memory card readers compatible with microSD and microSDHC memory cards up to 32GB in size. Pandigital equips both devices with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi cards for accessing Barnes & Noble’s online bookstore. Additional ports and connections available on both devices include one USB 2.0 port and one miniature stereo audio output jack.

Both support the EPUB and PDF e-book file formats, the MP3 audio file format and JPEG, PNG and BMP image formats. The 7-Inch eReader also has support for MPEG4 video files.
