Snake Food

Build a stuffed snake that is eating you from the head down. The tail coils around you, as the mouth envelops your head and maybe part of a shoulder. Head straps on the inside will hold the snake head still so you can see out one eye hole and breath. Attach the snake with safety pins and drizzle some blood along the bite line to run down your blouse.

Put on a prosthetic pregnant belly, and cut an old blouse around it that appears to have ripped away from the swelling. Take a baby doll cut it so you can glue portions of the head and an arm coming out of the prosthesis, like it is tearing through. Bloody up the prosthesis where the baby is tearing through. Strap on the prosthesis with the emerging baby, put on the blouse, bloody the edges of the blouse, and have some blood trickling from your lips. Darken around your eyes, and you are ready. This one is not for parties where women who are actually pregnant might attend.

Pun ideas for costumes are almost too numerous to count. You can tape a dollar bill to each ear, and then you are a buccaneer (buck-an-ear). Strap a doll to your behind, and when someone asks what you are, sit down and tell them you are the babysitter. Attach several boxes of one-serving cereals to your clothes with little knives stuck in them and blood coming out. You are dressed as a cereal killer. Horns on your head with an egg costume on your body make you a deviled egg.
Autopsy Bag

A suit bag, with some artistic skill and acrylic paint, can be converted into a very creepy rendition of a body bag containing an autopsied corpse. Cut to holes in the bottom for your feet to go through, and cut a hole for your face to stick out near the top. Below where your face will be paint on a dead body, extending downward under the apparent clear plastic, hands folded over the crotch, stitched incisions marks all over the gray-green body. Paint it as realistically as you can, then make up your face to match the gray-green of the corpse.
Stick Woman

Completely cover your body in black, preferably something fairly snug. Cover your head with something stretchy and black, too. Attach lines of glow-lights from your feet, up along the fronts of your legs, meeting at your abdomen. Then put another line from your abdomen to your neck. Extend a line of glow-lights from the top of your chest along each of your arms. Build a square of glow lights attached around your face. You are a stick woman.
