What to Dress My Toddler in for Halloween?
Every toddler loves Halloween. The special decorations, the exciting costumes and of course the candy are extremely stimulating to their young minds. These children don’t have the means to dress themselves, so obviously it’s up to you – the parent or guardian – to make sure they have a positive and memorable holiday. Picking a costume for your toddler can be hard because so many possibilities exist to choose from. The best method, of course, is to simply ask your toddler what he would like to be and dress him up that way. If it's not too scary or inappropriate, it will make a suitable costume.

Animal Costumes
-
Kids love animals. You can dress them up as lions, tigers, bears, bees, frogs, puppies, monkeys, spiders, etc. Costumes for all of these can easily be found in Halloween stores, in variety stores and online.
Horror Costumes
-
If they are not easily frightened, you can dress them as slightly spooky characters. Some examples are: ghosts, vampires, skeletons, werewolves, mummies or other monsters.

Cartoon Character Costumes
-
Dress them up as their favorite cartoon characters. There are costumes for Pokemon, Teletubbies, SpongeBob SquarePants and many other popular cartoon characters, including superheroes of all kinds.
Fairytale Costumes
-
Dress your child up as a prince or princess, a dragon, a knight or an elf.
Other Costumes
-
Other suitable costumes that might be familiar to your toddler include a mailbox, a car, a ballerina, a pirate, a grownup or a flower. You can even dress your toddler up as his very own self-created imaginary creature.
