Why Does the Damage Glow Orange in "RuneScape"?
Some monsters in the online role-playing game "RuneScape" have the ability to cause your character additional damage, which is generally due to poisoning. The effects of poisoning continue long after you dissolve the fight and can be cured by drinking an antipoison potion. When a monster poisons you, you will receive a green damage bar that displays the amount of damage you received. Sometimes you might receive a damage bar that is an orange-yellow color instead. Although the damage does not decrease your life points, curing the damage is essential to continuing with game play.

Disease
-
When you receive the orange-yellow notification bar, a monster has diseased your character. Your character will only receive damage if hit by certain "RuneScape" monsters. The disease damage does not decrease your life points, but it does decrease your stats. All stats, with the exception of Constitution, are affected by disease. The number that you receive on the orange notification bar represents the number of skill points by which the disease is decreasing your skills.
Monsters That Disease
-
Monsters can disease you regardless of whether you retaliate or run away. If the monster is aggressive and attacks you automatically, you can receive life-points damage if the hit is successful. Similar to poisoning, not all hits from diseasing monsters cause disease damage, but upon receiving damage to your life points, your chance of being diseased increases dramatically. Monsters that can cause disease to your character include zogres and skogres in Jiggig, fever spiders on Braindeath Island and diseased kebbits. You can also become diseased by failing to unlock a zogre coffin or failing to cut a scrapey tree in the Trouble Brewing activity.

Relicym's balm is created my mixing a rogue's purse and clean snake weed in a vial of water, which requires Level 8 Herblore. After drinking the potion, your character will be cured of the disease but your stats levels will remain affected.
Restoring Stats
-
Your character's stats will gradually recover about one level per minute, but for instantaneous recovery, you can drink several potions created with the Herblore skill. Restore potions, which require Level 22 Herblore, can recover Defense, Attack, Magic, Strength, Ranged and Constitution.
