To find the Craigslist website, type "Craigslist" into your Web search engine or visit www.craigslist.org. The first time you visit the site, you will have to select the city nearest to where you live from an available list. For subsequent visits, Craigslist will remember your city and load that city's page by default. For example, if you're from Dallas and have already indicated your location, you'll automatically be redirected to www.dallas.craigslist.org.

If you're not from the exact region of the Craigslist city you've chosen, browse the list of nearby cities from the "Nearby CL" menu that runs down the right side of the page. Here, you'll see a list of nearby cities with Craigslist subsites. In the example of Dallas, you'll see such options as Austin, College Station and Houston. Write a description for the item, then press the "Add/Edit Images" to upload one to four photos to your item listing. Press "Continue," then review your listing and confirm it by pressing "Continue" again. After pressing "Continue," you will soon receive an email that contains a link to publish your listing.
