Don't let those little pigs get the best of you.

"Angry Birds" features a collection of colorful birds battling an evil army of pigs in hopes of getting their eggs back. ABC News recently interviewed Suraj Patel, a tech entrepreneur who has beaten the entire game and now offers tips and strategies on how to do it yourself. The more techniques you know regarding "Angry Birds" the better your odds of beating the game.

  1. Make The Most Of Your Birds

    • One major key to beating the "Angry Birds" game is knowing what your birds do and -- more importantly -- when to use them. For example, the yellow birds in the game work best against the yellow colored wood beams that help shelter the pigs you fight. These birds also speed up when in flight if you tap the screen, so make sure to do so if you are heading right towards a yellow beam. The blue birds work best against ice, but are less successful against stone or wood. On ice levels, use the blue birds and tap the screen while they are in flight. This will cause them to separate into three, causing more damage. White birds drops egg bombs, black birds turn into bombs, red birds just run into targets and boomerang birds can reverse their course mid-flight. Having a firm understanding of what each bird does will help you beat any level.

    The Tracker

    • After you fire a bird from your slingshot, a white trajectory line will appear showing the path the bird has just taken. This white line can be used to your advantage for setting up future shots within the level. If you have overshot your target, position your bird underneath the white line that remains. If you have undershot your target, place your bird above the white line that remains. If you hit your target -- but more targets remain within that trajectory path -- do not adjust your aim. According to Patel, "some levels require that you fire at the same place up to four or five times."

    Alter The Purpose

    • Just because a bird features a special power doesn't mean you have to use it, especially if it ultimately doesn't serve you. For example, the boomerang bird -- if you tap the screen -- will reverse its course, much like a boomerang would. However, if you just let him fly, he will cause considerable damage. Same holds true for the white bird, which can drop egg bombs, but can still cause damage without doing so. Do not force -- or shoot -- your bird into a position in which he has to use a special power simply because he can.

    Be Patient

    • Like any video game, patience is the key. If you get stuck on a level, do not give up and do not get frustrated. Take a breather and alter your approach. Feel free to get experimental with how you use your birds and how you fire them towards your target. Patel states, "You just want to keep trying and, eventually, you'll figure it out."
