One of the biggest differences between fliers and brochures is what it costs to produce them. In general, fliers are significantly less expensive to produce than brochures. This is mainly because brochures typically use a heavier, glossy paper. On the other hand, a flier uses only one piece of regular copy paper. Both materials and printing costs are higher when producing brochures.

Another noticeable difference is the number of pages of which each option consists. In most cases, fliers are one page with printing only on the front. Brochures consist of several pages that fold. Depending on the number of folds in a brochure, they usually contain either four or eight pages. As a result, a brochure is capable of containing much more information than a fliers.
