The average salary of office coordinators and other administrative support supervisors was $50,770 per year, as of May 2010, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This salary, however, includes both inexperienced and experienced workers. The median salary for those in this line of work was $47,460. Inexperienced office coordinators can generally expect starting salaries below this figure, although there may be exceptions to the rule. The BLS indicates that the lower 25 percent of those employed as office supervisors earned less than $36,810, while the lowest 10 percent made $28,870 or less per year.

Despite the lower starting salaries in this field, the earning potential for those working as office administrative support supervisors and coordinators is substantially higher. The upper 50 percent of those working in this field made salaries greater than the median salary of $47,460. However, the largest group of office coordinators and supervisors worked in the banking industry, making an average salary of $48,100 per year. Those who worked in physicians' offices made slightly more at $49,690 per year, while those employed by local government agencies made $52,260.
