Air Bed Sizes
Air mattresses are typically designed for those on-the-go travelers who prefer a bit of comfort as opposed to sleeping on hard ground. They also make nifty guest accommodations when a friend needs a place to crash for the night, or your teens host a sleepover. Air beds, like regular spring-and-fabric beds, come in a variety of standard shapes and sizes. Does this Spark an idea?

Travel Size
-
This is not an "official" size per se, but rather encompasses a large portion of the air mattress population intended almost exclusively for sports use. These mattresses are typically about 6 feet long when fully unrolled and don't achieve more than a few inches in height when completely inflated. Air beds like these are typically used in camping or as very temporary bedding in guest-house situations. They can also include the air mattresses used in swimming pools, as they share roughly the same dimensions.
Twin
-
Twin mattresses are the smallest semi-permanent air mattress size. They're roughly equivalent to the standard twin bed mattress, measuring 75 inches long and 39 inches wide, and can often come up as high as 22 inches off the floor when fully inflated.

Queen
-
The next step up from the "Twin" mattress, the queen mattress is both wider and longer than the twin, usually one-and-a-half times the width of a twin (around 60 inches) and about 80 inches in length. Queen mattresses can also reach up to 22 inches in height, depending on the manufacturer and type of bed.
King
-
The King bed is the largest of all, though not as prevalent as the smaller sizes. King size air mattresses typically measure in at 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. Like the other mattresses, the kings size bed can measure anywhere from 8 to 22 inches high, depending on the manufacturer.
