Sometimes, users may wish to extract the files stored in an ISO image file to use independently of the ISO itself. Users can launch PowerISO and then click "Open" to begin this process. Users can then locate the ISO on their hard drive, select it and click "Open" again. Once the ISO is open in the PowerISO screen, users can click "Extract." At this point, users will have to select a destination folder on their hard drive to send the files extracted from the ISO.
