Where Does Skypephone Work?

There are two versions of Skypephone, the s2 and s1 models. The s2 is only available in the U.K. The s1 is available in the U.K., Australia, Hong Kong, Sweden, Italy, Denmark, Austria and Ireland.

On a Skypephone, Skype can be accessed with the touch of a button. Press the large center button labeled with "Skype" to access your Skype account and use Skype. Skype is pre-installed on the phone, so there is nothing extra to download.

Functions of Skypephone

Users can call Skype to Skype and instant message for free while on the 3 network or a sister network. Skypephone can access Google, includes a camera and either 16 or 50 megabytes of memory. Skype video chat cannot be used on a Skypephone.
International Calls

Skype Credit can be purchased in a Skype account and is used for calls that are not free. Local and international calls to landlines and cellphones are charged at a Skype-specified per-minute rate. To purchase Skype Credit, go to Skype's homepage on a computer, place the cursor over "Prices" and then click "Skype Credit." Click "Buy Skype Credit" to purchase credit. Skype Credit cannot be purchased on a Skypephone.
