The Razor A2 is an update of the original A-series scooter -- called the A -- by adding springless front suspension consisting of a wheel shock system and wheelie bar. The A2, however, retains the aluminum-based design, which consists of an aircraft-grade aluminum T-tube and deck, urethane wheels with high-speed ABEC-5 bearings and adjustable handlebars. Additionally, the A2 can also be folded for carrying purposes. The A3 has the same design and functionality as the A2, with aesthetic alterations to a few components such as the wheels.

The Razor A3 does not have the purple color finish as an option, thus offering four choices instead of the A2's five.
