Definition
-
A watch pillow is an item that the watch fits over when it is not being worn. Typically built with a soft material inside and a cloth exterior, a watch pillow is the size of a wrist. You put the watch on the pillow and fasten the latch.
Size and Shape
-
Watch pillows come in various shapes and sizes. This depends on the watch that will be kept on it and the wearer of the watch. A watch that has a wider band needs to have a larger watch pillow than one that has a narrower band. The watch pillow should also fit the size and shape of the wrist of the watch owner.

Merchants
-
Watch pillows are used by merchants to display watches and bracelets. If you have jewelry and watches that you want to treat with care, you should use a watch pillow.
Wind and Clean
-
Another reason to use a watch pillow is that it provides a way to wind and clean the timepiece without your wrist, hand or arm getting in the way. After fastening the watch to the pillow, you have easy access to the winding knob and the ability to turn the watch over when you are cleaning it.
