Christian Craft for Children About Adam & Eve
Making a Christian craft with the theme of Adam and Eve is a basic lesson for any children's Sunday school class. There are a plethora of options when it comes to creating a craft that is fun, unique and memorable for all the children in your class. While you may have the choice of simply reading the story, a hands-on craft will be more involving and keep the children more alert during your lesson. There are many ways to tell the story of Adam and Eve through crafts.
-
Puppets
-
Making puppets of Adam and Eve will make the story memorable because the children will always have the puppets and will be able to act out the story themselves. Make puppet characters of Adam, Eve, the serpent and God. Make the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, either as a puppet or as a cardboard tree shape.
Collage
-
A collage is a more advanced, sophisticated way of expressing the story of Adam and Eve. Give children several old magazines and pieces of cardboard. Suggest they incorporate anything that reminds them of the story of Adam and Eve, such as a serpent, a tree and even the falling of glory the Bible emphasizes. Half of the collage may be bright and beautiful, while the other half may be dark and empty, symbolizing the beginning of original sin.

Clay
-
Making clay figures out of the story of Adam and Eve is a dynamic way of telling the story. Give children the option of assembling the clay on a piece of cardboard so that they can organize the characters on the board, or simply making individual characters out of clay. There are plenty of options when it comes to designing a garden out of clay, and the hands-on activity keeps the children busy and engaged in the story of Adam and Eve.
Storybook
-
Have each child make a picture storybook featuring Adam and Eve or design one page to contribute to a classroom storybook. Give the students magazines and plenty of glue sticks, stickers and markers. Encourage the students to include dialogue and plenty of color.
