Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for photo airbrushing and other image manipulation. Using Photoshop, your only limitation is your imagination. However, that functionality comes at a price; Photoshop is expensive. As of early 2011, Photoshop retailed for $699. If you can't afford that, you can buy Photoshop Elements, which has most of the functions an airbrush artist needs. Students can also usually get a significant discount at campus software stores.
