Pac-Man is one of the most popular arcade game of all time. The first secret to look for is the pattern to each maze. All mazes up to the ninth level have the same pattern to complete by eating all the dots. There is also a hiding spot in each maze that will protect you from the ghosts. If you go up and right immediately after the start of the first level, the ghosts will be unable to locate you.

    Galaga

    • The object of Galaga is to destroy all the spaceships while avoiding being killed by their bullets. There are a number of patterns to study in Galaga that will help you succeed. The ships that fly off the screen at the start will not come back. The ships on the left of the screen attack through the center or by swooping down to the right. The opposite is true for ships on the right side of the screen. Another key secret to be aware of is that not all Galaga ships can fire on you at the same time. Try to draw attention to one area, then move quickly when a few ships fire.

    Asteroids

    • Similarly to Galaga, Asteroids involves seeking and destroying enemy spacecraft while avoiding collisions. Killing saucers gives you more points, but it is dangerous to wait for them to appear. Additionally, the saucers will be destroyed when they hit asteroids, so be patient. Note that when you are killed by colliding with an asteroid, you get points for that contact. Hyperspace, an Asteroids technique that involves jumping to another part of the screen, should be avoided in most cases. The unsure nature of the jump could put you in harm's way.
