Homemade Peanut Butter
-
To create peanut butter, use 1 cup of shelled peanuts with the skin removed and 1 to 2 tbsp. of cooking oil. Place the peanuts in a food processor and pulse the machine 3 to 4 times until it is the consistency of peanut butter. Add the oil and pulse 2 to 3 times more. If a creamier consistency is desired, a blender may be used. There are not any preservatives in the peanut butter, so it should be used in a couple of days.
