Easy Christian Crafts With a Tropical Theme
Churches use simple craft projects during Sunday school or vacation Bible school.
The Sunday school teachers teach a lesson about the Bible and introduce a fun craft project that helps reinforce the information the students learned. Creating a Christian craft project with a tropical theme is fast and easy for anyone.

Surfing With Jesus
-
Glue a piece of light colored felt around a bar of white soap like a cover of a book. Trim off the excess felt, and glue the felt in place. Write the word "Bible" on top of the book with a permanent marker, and the words "Surfing With Jesus Through His Words" around the exposed soap edges. The finished craft looks like a small Bible.
Parting of The Red Sea
-
Fold a 9-by-12-inch piece of paper in half, so it is 6 inches wide and 9 inches long. Place it on a flat surface with the folded edge on the left. Put the open edge facing the right side. Fold the top flap of the open edge back towards the left folded edge. Fold the second flap back towards the folded edge on the back side. Press across the folded edge so it has a good seam. Flip the folded paper over, so the two edges you folded lay flat, and the original fold points straight up. Hold the flat pieces still while you push the point down towards the flat surface. Flatten the center and flip the paper over. When you pull on the left and right side of the paper, it opens exposing a small flat surface. Color this surface a sandy beach color. Close it back and color the outside blue. Tell the story of the parting of the Red Sea, and pull the left and right side showing the sea parting.
