Rose Bowl Game Parking Tips

The 2011 Rose Bowl featured Wisconsin and TCU.

The first Rose Bowl Game was played in 1902. Attendance often surpasses 90,000. As a result, parking quickly turns into a chaotic headache for visitors. To ensure an enjoyable Rose Bowl experience, follow some key procedures and make it to the game on time.

  1. Payment

    • Make sure you bring enough cash to cover the price of parking. Cars cost $40, RVs are $150 and buses and limos range from $230 to $300. Advanced parking permits are available for buses and limos, and are cheaper than day-of-game rates. All prices were as of 2010.

    Arrival

    • It is recommended visitors arrive as early as possible. Gates open at 4 a.m., and stadium officials suggest attendees arrive no later than 10 or 11 a.m. to secure a parking space. It is recommended that people carpool whenever possible.

    Alternatives

    • One alternative to parking at the stadium is parking nine blocks away at Roosevelt Elementary School. Parking is $30. A number of free shuttles also run near the stadium. Parsons Corp. offers parking options -- and a free shuttle -- that drops fans off right in front of the stadium.
