Typical home-use airbrush tanning kits contain a compressor, an air hose, an airbrush gun and a bottle of the tanning solution. The compressor generates the pressurized air that sprays the tanning solution out of the airbrush gun. Some airbrush models are intended to spray larger parts of the body, such as the legs and back, while others are made for the face and hands. Some airbrush systems polarize the tanning solution, which is said to make the solution particles adhere to the skin more evenly.
