"Nemo" Foam Crafts
Kids can turn their favorite clown-fish adventurer into a creative craft made out of foam. If your little ones simply love Disney's "Finding Nemo," spend an afternoon helping them to design a fish-like art project out of this squishy material. Add other colorful characters such as Dory the blue tang or Nemo's dad Marlin. Use a pre-made kit or create your own craft by using multiple single sheets of foam from an art supply store.

Pre-made Kits
-
Pre-made Nemo foam crafts include activity kits with individual foamies featuring favorite characters from the movie, as well as picture frames and picture sets. Although there are off-brand Nemo foam craft kits, the Disney activity packs offer true-to-the film looks and scenes. Try a foam Nemo kit for a school project, at-home activity or even a themed birthday party craft. Parents can purchase pre-made kits from many different art supply stores as well as on-line sources such as eBay and specialty craft or foam supply retailers.
Homemade Crafts
-
Add a creative edge to your family's Nemo project and create your own foam activity. Unlike pre-made foam craft kits, homemade projects allow the child to use his or her imagination to create unique designs and/or scenes based on the beloved character. Purchase individual sheets of craft foam in Nemo-like colors such as white, orange and black. Add in blue or yellow for extra characters such as Dory. Look for a picture of Nemo on Disney's website or use a book or poster for reference. Help your young artist to draw an outline of the clown-fish onto orange foam. Cut the fish out, and add white and black strips of foam with glue. Complete the look with self-adhesive googley eyes.
