Searching for a four leaf clover isn't the only way to have fun on St. Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day is a holiday celebrated with festive rainbows, pots of gold and leprechauns. You can do some fun paper crafts that take the themes of the day and make them into your own creations.

  1. Paper Leprechaun

    • Leprechauns are iconic images for St. Patrick's Day. Adults can make a paper leprechaun to hang on their door and children can make different outfits to change the leprechaun into by affixing cutouts with sticky tack.

    Pot of Gold

    • Carry around a pot of gold filled with chocolate coins on St. Patrick's Day to give out to people you see doing good deeds. Make the pot of gold with a paper plate cut in half and stapled together along the round side and attach a chenille stem. Color the pot as you like and fill it with chocolate coins for your own personal pot of gold.

    Door Hanger

    • Door hangers are good for adding festivity, especially for parties and children's rooms. You can make a door hanger out of a paper plate and decorate it with markers. Cut a hole in the top half of the paper plate in a half circle shape so that you are left with an arch over the top of the plate. Cut around the bottom half to create a rounded pot shape; color the bottom to look like a pot and the arch to look like a rainbow.
