Blackfoot is a town within Anderson County in eastern Texas. It is located about an hour and 50 minutes southeast of Dallas. The town enjoyed brief attention when an oilfield strike in 1930 caused new fields to be sought. A field was discovered in Blackfoot and the town's population grew to around 200. As of 2000, Blackfoot's population was 33. Blackfoot has no hotels, but visitors will find accommodations in nearby towns.
A village in Adams County, Ohio, Seaman has a population of just over 1,000 people. The only way to stay in Lapwai is to be hosted by a resident, otherwise you should rely on nearby accommodation options.
