How to Add an E-mail Link with a Subject Line to a Web Page

When visitors send an email from this link, the subject line will already be entered! Use this trick to determine which page your visitor is emailing you from.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open a text editing program, such as EditPad or Notepad. Position the cursor where the link will appear.

  2. Step 2

    Type the following: Email Me.

  3. Step 3

    Replace the E-mail address and subject with your information.

  4. Step 4

    Replace 'E-mail Me' with your own words for a text link or an image for a graphical link.

Tips & Warnings
  • Change the subject line to reflect the information where the link appears. For example, if the link asks for comments on your ice cream web page, make the subject line 'What I Thought of Your Ice Cream Page'.
