How to Remove Rust Without Chemicals

You can remove small rust spots from all sorts of surfaces with this easy, chemical-free trick.

Things You'll Need:

• 000 Or 0000 Steel Wool

1. 

   Get a pad of 000 or 0000 (Triple Ot, Quadruple Ot) steel wool.

2. Rip off a small portion of steel wool.

3. Wad the steel wool into a small ball.

4. 

   Rub the rusted area vigorously.

5. 

   Wipe away the dust with a clean cloth.

Tips & Warnings

• 000 or 0000 steel wool is available from hardware stores.
• Do not use steel wool on any painted or aluminum surfaces.
