You can remove small rust spots from all sorts of surfaces with this easy, chemical-free trick.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 000 Or 0000 Steel Wool

Step1
Get a pad of 000 or 0000 (Triple Ot, Quadruple Ot) steel wool.
Step2
Rip off a small portion of steel wool.
Step3
Wad the steel wool into a small ball.
Step4
Rub the rusted area vigorously.
Step5
Wipe away the dust with a clean cloth.

Tips & Warnings

  • 000 or 0000 steel wool is available from hardware stores.
  • Do not use steel wool on any painted or aluminum surfaces.
