  • Cybug Scarabs
  • Hexapod Walker Kits
  • Hyper Peppy Robot Kits
  • Lego Mindstorms Robotics Discovery Sets
  • Lego Mindstorms: Robotics Invention System 1.5
  • Wall Hugging Mouse Kits
  1. Step 1

    Look at the Wall Hugging Mouse Kit or Hyper Peppy Robot Kit ($30 each) for beginning robot builders.

  2. Step 2

    Introduce your child to robotics and programming with the Robotics Discovery Set for beginners or the Lego Mindstorms Robotics Invention System ($200) for older kids.

  3. Step 3

    Find a Soccer Bot Kit ($35) or Spider IR Walker Kit ($70) for more advanced skill levels.

  4. Step 4

    Consider the Cybug Scarab ($50) or Hexapod Walker Kit ($150) if the recipient has experience with electronics.
