Your hair should be the center of attention this holiday season, so accessorize it with these quick and easy ideas.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hair Accessories
  • Hair Clips
  • Hair Ornaments
  • Combs
  • Hair Gel
  • Hair Mousses
  • Hair Spray
  • Hairbrush
  1. Step 1

Twist your hair into a French twist and secure with jeweled bobby pins all along the twist for instant glamour.

  2. Step 2

Pull hair back behind your ears and secure with crystal barrettes for an off-the-face look.

  3. Step 3

Smooth hair back with a beaded or glittery headband for sleek sophistication.

  4. Step 4

Combine a pinch of glitter with a drop of clear hair gel. Pat through hair to create a sparkly tousled 'do.

  5. Step 5

Place festive butterflies or dragonflies in various colors all over loose hair. This looks great in short hair, whether it's curly or slightly wavy.

  6. Step 6

Snap or Velcro tiny hair gems in an updo or loose hair for a little shine.

  7. Step 7

Position a baby tiara at the front of an upswept hairdo or under a chignon to feel like a princess.

Tips & Warnings
  • When adorning hair, keep the jewelry very minimal. Opt for either a necklace or earrings, never both.
  • Don't combine too many hair acessories at once.

on 11/22/2005 For less costly accessories for your hair try looking in craft stores. Ribbon and faux flowers can be added to any hair style as can beading or lace.

on 11/22/2005 Wear half of your hair up and half of it down, making your scalp form a line on the back of your head. Trust me, it looks very pretty.
