You should simply dress the way you always do - that way the parents can see what kind of person their son is dating and not some Stepford model fresh off the line. If you regularly wear black lipstick and platforms, then do so. Just be you, don't pretend to be something you're not. -

Wear something that's "you." If you're used to miniskirts, don't wear something ankle-length, you will feel awkward and it will show! Wear something fairly conservative, but still young and pretty. Just in general, moms want their son to have a nice girlfriend, and dads want a pretty (and also nice) girlfriend. Be intelligent, and when in doubt, don't say it! -
