Step1
Find out where the first meeting will occur. Will it be in a formal or casual setting?
Step2
Keep your makeup very light.
Step3
Zip up a black sheath dress for a more formal occasion. Top it off with a cardigan, either tied around your shoulders or pulled on.

Slip on a plain black or gray wool skirt with a cashmere cropped, scoop-neck sweater for a meeting in a relaxed atmosphere.
Step5
Pair flat-front trousers with a funnel-neck sweater.
Step6
Wear a simple wool dress with black mules for easy chic. Or opt for a V-neck sweater with an A-line skirt.

on 8/29/2006 Bring something nice like maybe an household gift or a homemade dish. Keep your options open!

on 7/18/2006 Wear something that's "you." If you're used to miniskirts, don't wear something ankle-length, you will feel awkward and it will show! Wear something fairly conservative, but still young and pretty.
Just in general, moms want their son to have a nice girlfriend, and dads want a pretty (and also nice) girlfriend. Be intelligent, and when in doubt, don't say it!

on 2/2/2006 The person you have to impress the most is Mom. Be nice. Offer to give a helping had if stuff needs doing, like helping make tea or wash dishes. But don't overdo it, you want to be yourself and not appear false.

on 11/22/2005 Don't dress or act how you think your boyfriend's parents will want you to. Be yourself and let them see what your boyfriend loves about you.
