Things You'll Need:
- Women's Boots
- Women's Closed-toed Shoes
- Women's Dancing Shoes
- Women's Dress Shoes
- Women's Sandals
-
Step 1
Consider the occasion. For casual day activities, look at dressy thongs and satin ballet slippers. Dress up a miniskirt with low-heeled mules, wedge-heeled slip-on sandals or low-heeled strappy sandals.
-
Step 2
Dress in knee-high boots for a retro look. The boot heel should be a covered wedge that matches the color of the boot.
-
Step 3
Pair the short skirt with loafers and tights in the winter. Add some pizzazz by wearing textured or patterned tights.
-
Step 4
Consider color. A black shoe will match just about everything, except pastels. If you choose a colored shoe, opt for tones that are a shade or two darker than your outfit or its main accent color.
-
Step 5
Avoid wearing high pumps and stiletto heels with miniskirts, as this combination may be perceived as a bit tacky.

on 3/7/2006 What's wrong with wearing a high heel with a mini skirt? Seriously girls- it looks HOT! And if you feel comfortable in it and have great legs- go for it!
You know what they say- if you've got it - flaunt it!

on 1/2/2006 Miniskirts and leather high-heeled pumps, or minis with strap stiletto dress sandals, are guaranteed to turn heads, especially if you have nice legs. I like them with sheer, nude nylons. My dates love them. They especially like the "Executive Tease" look, when I wear them with a blazer or suit. Lots of double-takes!

on 11/22/2005 There is no doubt that my favorite look is knee high boots that have four inch heels with miniskirts. I am tall, so it accentuates my legs and when I can see the male heads turn, I feel like I have accomplished my goal of looking like a knockout.

on 11/22/2005 There is no doubt in my mind that when I wear a miniskirt I also wear black hose. I dress up the outfit with knee high boots or boots that just come up over the knee. Why wear a miniskirt unless you want to make a statement. This is not a trashy look, but a head turning look. Try it, you might just like it.

on 11/22/2005 Whether or not you want to wear stilettos with your miniskirt will depend on quite a few things. If you're trying to attract men, most love the stiletto/miniskirt look. However, as stated in the article, it will appear "trashy" or streetwalker-ish to some. The style of the stiletto can make a difference. A very bare stiletto sandal may look less "trashy" as opposed to a more classic pump style stiletto.
Ultimately, if you look in the mirror and think it looks "trashy," you probably should change. (Unless that's the look you're going for, of course...)
