Tips & Warnings
Cross a downtown area with some of your in-line skating friends. Skate fast and try to keep doing tricks the whole time.
Skate downtown late at night, when cars and traffic are at a minimum, so you'll have maximum usage of the city's resources.
Steer clear of "no skating" signs, angry shop owners, pedestrians and policemen.
Be very careful of traffic when street skating. Car drivers aren't looking for you to come bursting around a corner or out into the street. Cars are the biggest danger to street skaters.
Always wear a helmet, knee pads and wirst guards when street skating on in-line skates. Because your feet have wheels on them, they're little help when you lose your balance, so you end up on the ground often enough.
In-line skating is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.
