Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • In-line Skate Axles
  • In-line Skate Spacers
  • In-line Skate Wheels
  • In-line Skates
  • In-line Skating Gear
  • In-line Skating Helmets

  • Wrist Guards
  1. Step 1

Begin rolling forward on your in-line skates by pushing off on one skate and then the other.

  2. Step 2

Hold your arms out for balance as necessary. Bend your knees.

  3. Step 3

Stagger your skates, with the inside skate slightly forward.

  4. Step 4

Lean in the direction you wish to turn. Try to lean just the lower half of your body.

  5. Step 5

Take small steps with your inside skate, then push off a little with your outside skate to aid your turn.

Tips & Warnings
  • Start slowly and carefully until you are comfortable with the mechanics of turning. Gradually build up to sharper turns at higher speed.
  • Always wear a helmet, knee pads and wrist guards when in-line skating. If you lose your balance, your feet are of no use to you and you usually end up on the ground.
  • In-line skating is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.
