Tips & Warnings
Clipping file creation works in many applications, including AppleWorks (ClarisWorks), Microsoft Word (version 6 or later), WordPerfect, SimpleText (which comes installed on your Mac), AOL, FileMaker, and NisusWriter.
The Clipping extension must be on for this to work. If you try to make a clipping from one of the supported programs and it doesn't work, open the Extensions Manager control panel and make sure that the Clipping extension is checked. If it's not, check it and restart the computer.
