How to Paste an Item From the Mac Scrapbook

The Mac Scrapbook is a desk accessory, ready to use anytime from your Apple menu. Park a copy of almost anything in the Scrapbook - text, picture, sound, movie clips - and use it again in almost any application.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mac OS 9.0
  1. Step 1

    Open the document you want to paste the Scrapbook item into.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the Apple menu and select Scrapbook.

  3. Step 3

    Scroll to the item in your Scrapbook that you want to use: Your left and right cursor keys will do the job; alternatively, you can use your mouse.

  4. Step 4

    Copy your selection from the Scrapbook by clicking on the File menu and selecting Copy (or press Command-C).

  5. Step 5

    Click on the Scrapbook close box (or press Command-Q).

  6. Step 6

    Place the insertion point wherever you want the Scrapbook item to go in the document.

  7. Step 7

    Choose Paste from the Edit menu (or press Command-V).
