How to Paste an Item From the Mac Scrapbook

The Mac Scrapbook is a desk accessory, ready to use anytime from your Apple menu. Park a copy of almost anything in the Scrapbook - text, picture, sound, movie clips - and use it again in almost any application.

Things You'll Need:

• Mac OS 9.0

1. Open the document you want to paste the Scrapbook item into.

2. Click on the Apple menu and select Scrapbook.

3. Scroll to the item in your Scrapbook that you want to use: Your left and right cursor keys will do the job; alternatively, you can use your mouse.

4. Copy your selection from the Scrapbook by clicking on the File menu and selecting Copy (or press Command-C).

5. Click on the Scrapbook close box (or press Command-Q).

6. Place the insertion point wherever you want the Scrapbook item to go in the document.

7. Choose Paste from the Edit menu (or press Command-V).
