Things You'll Need:
- Cotton Underwear
- Antifungal Creams
- Jockstraps
-
Step 1
Apply an over-the-counter antifungal cream three times a day, or as directed in the product instructions, to get rid of the fungus. Treatment must continue for three to four weeks or the fungus will reappear.

For a severe or persistent infection, see your doctor and discuss the possibility of topical and/or oral anti-fungal medication.

Step 4
Wear a jock strap, or athletic supporter, to keep your genitals away from the rest of your skin.
-
Step 5
Keep groin area clean and dry.
-
Step 6
Wear cotton underwear.

on 9/5/2008 Use bleach in the wash when washing underwear to kill the fungus. (Be sure to follow the instructions on the bottle.) This alone cured my husband's jock itch with in a few weeks!

on 8/27/2008 Try applying coconut oil on the itching area while going to bed and use cotton under garments which absorb sweat. Avoid walking after applying the oil. I hope this will make you feel much better.
