How to Use Netscape Navigator With America Online

You can run Netscape Navigator while signed on to AOL. Browse with both of them by alternating screens.

Instructions

Step 1

Sign on to AOL.
Step 2

Minimize the screen by clicking on the minus sign in the top right corner of the window.
Step 3

Launch your Netscape browser from the desktop or programs menu.
Step 4

Alternate between AOL and Netscape by minimizing and maximizing the two windows.

Tips & Warnings

You must first sign on to AOL to be able to launch your Netscape browser.
You need to stay connected to AOL to be able to browse with the separate Netscape browser.
To close Netscape, just click the X in the top right corner of the Navigator screen.
